Large insurance providers, such as Blue Cross – Blue Shield establish prices that they will pay for certain procedures, and sometimes those prices are too low to adequately compensate doctors. Also, because the low prices fail to properly compensate physicians, patients may have to pay more out-of-pocket to make performing certain procedures cost-effective for physicians. This system results in patients forgoing necessary procedures because of the additional cost. However, recourse is available under the Montana Unfair Trade Practices Act.

If your clinic or medical partnership is not being adequately compensated for the procedures you perform, we will work with you to file a lawsuit to compel insurance companies to set a market-appropriate rate, and we can seek financial compensation for past procedures where you were insufficiently reimbursed.
